With the summer ahead, I’m looking forward to another abundant herb garden, which seems to flourish more than any of the vegetables I plant in my tiny, urban yard. I got excited about the arrival of fresh herbs while reviewing Naturity’s certified organic bath & body products, a beautiful, affordable line scented with herbal favorites like rosemary, chamomile, eucalyptus and peppermint. Naturity’s products stay true to each individual herb so you can select one for its therapeutic properties (or just because you love it) and find a whole lineup of corresponding products in that herbal scent. You’re into sweet orange? Take your pick from massage oil, salt soak, sugar scrub or herbal bath. I tried Naturity’s soothing Chamomile Herbal Bath, a blend of chamomile flowers and chamomile essential oil that made for a subtle, soothing soak. And I just loved that it was packaged as a larger-than-life tea bag. I also opted for the invigorating Rosemary Sugar Scrub, a blend of raw Demerara sugar, sunflower seed oil, vitamin E oil and rosemary essential oil that worked efficiently to slough away the last of my dry, winter skin spots. Getting absolutely hooked on the simplicity of Naturity’s products seems to be a good thing, with the exceptional recycling and tree planting programs that the company has in place. For every customer order, Naturity purchases a tree to be planted by the New Jersey Tree Foundation. And for every five Naturity containers you send back to the company to be recycled, Naturity will email you a $15 gift certificate for future products. New moms should check out Naturity’s certified organic mother and baby products as well, including a chamomile, lavender and calendula talc-free baby powder! Writer :: Jolene Hart
