The Darker Side Of Green Rocked At The Oscars.

Global Green USA always hosts a special bash alongside the traditional Oscar parties that brings focus and awareness to eco-issues. With movies like The Cove and Avatar taking center stage and a slew of Hollywood celebs such as Jessica Alba & Natalie Portman in attendance, there was an extra buzz surrounding the event. Lesser known but no less fabulous were all the verdant movers and shakers who are proactively changing the landscape of how we think, act and dress(!) right now. Women like Anna Griffin, Editor-In-Chief of Coco Eco Magazine and Zem Joaquin of Ecofabulous (who counts Anna Getty and Arianna Huffington as best friends) both rocked a mix of vintage and current eco-designers with everything in their ensembles showing that these ladies know how to walk their talk. Elena Garcia & Linda Loudermilk were just two of the eco-designers gracing their looks, with accessories designers such as Blank Verse and Christie Martin providing the finishing touches. Magda Rod, Owner of Visionary Boutique in LA looked edgy & unique as always in her vintage ensemble, sourced in NYC. All in all the ladies showed (with style, glamour & cool), that you CAN go green without sacrificing anything.
