Holiday party season is approaching, which means it’s time to start thinking about party makeup! If you ask me, this is the best time of the year to use soft, subtly sparkling mineral colors because they all seem to look incredibly dramatic in the evening, under twinkling holiday lights! You’ll want to start with a perfected face, for which Alima’s Satin Matte Foundation and Afterglow’s Organic Mineral Foundation are ideal. Both go on velvety smooth, are buildable, and leave skin looking airbrushed. Mineral Fusion’s Bronzer in Sparkle, brushed lightly under cheekbones, is pretty for contouring while Christopher Drummond Beauty’s multidimensional Sateen Blush (Alluring Apricot glows on fair skin, Silky Garnet illuminates darker skintones) adds color to cheeks.
