As the weather gets warmer and the days get brighter, one of the things I crave the most is color.  Cheerful pinks, sunny yellows, bright blues, and grassy greens instantly perk up my world, making me feel happy and invigorated.  I want to infuse color into every part of my life, from the vegetables on my plate, to the clothes I wear.  And lately, this quench for color has even extended to my makeup.  The eyes are the easiest place to add a bright color because you can be as subtle or bold as you want, as long as you balance it with the rest of your makeup.  I personally adore using Alima Eyeshadows, which are the perfect powders because they can be used as a liner or shadow, depending on their application.  With these pure mineral shadows, color is buildable and natural.  To color yourself happy, try one of two techniques.  First, wet a liner brush and dip the tip into the color of your choice.  Apply a single line of color as close to the lash line as possible, winging out the ends slightly.  Because you’re using such a small amount of color, try a bright and beautiful shade like Aubergine or Azure.  Another option is to use a shadow brush to distribute color over the eyelids.  To ensure that your eyes are natural but not distracting, use a color that is slightly more sheer, such as Meadow or Gold Dust.  You can always up the intensity of the color if you so desire.  Whichever look you choose, finish it off with two coats of black mascara and lip gloss.  Beautiful!
